Produsenten sin beskrivelse
Kastaplast introduces yet another member to its growing disc family: MALM.
Our goal is to provide a disc for every disc golfer, in every situation, and this is a big step in that direction. Malm is an overstable fairway driver designed with experienced players in mind, but it also serves as a great utility disc for intermediate players. With flight numbers of 10/4/0/2.5, it fits between the Stål and Guld in our lineup.
This time, we are releasing the disc in two different plastics. The first run comes in the Tour Team-exclusive K1 Hard, while the stock run is introduced in regular K1 plastic. The first run features a special stamp dedicated to our touring team, and the harder plastic makes the disc slightly more overstable.
The name "Malm" was chosen because the city center of Stockholm is surrounded by four districts—Norrmalm, Södermalm, Östermalm, and Västermalm—historically referred to as malmar. Additionally, malm means "ore," connecting the disc to our metal-themed naming tradition and the northern regions of Sweden, known for their vast iron ore fields—the birthplace of our discs.
This forceful fairway driver holds up to both headwind and power shots, making the disc a useful companion when the long bending fairways need to be conquered. The Malm is equally comfortable for backhand and forehand plays and has a predictable fade in the end of the flight.
K1 Hard Line Plastic
K1 Hard Plastic is a grippy, slightly stiffer premium plastic with great durability. K1 Hard is known to be a bit more overstable than the regular K1 Line.
